Fox buys 'Metropolitan' script

EXCLUSIVE: Fox has purchased a script entitled "Metropolitan," around three teams of detectives employed in Washington, D.C.From Doug Liman's Hypnotic shingle, show has been created by Universal Cable Prods. Liman, that has an offer in the studio, also produces UCP's approaching half-hour laffer "Among The Finest My Pants Back" for MTV."Metropolitan" script comes from Jason Tracey, who professional produces with Liman and David Bartis. Tracey was most lately a author for USA Network's Jeffrey Donovan drama "Burn Notice."
