NBC Buys Comedy Put together By & Starring Andrea Savage And Produced By Jay Roach

EXCLUSIVE: NBC has bought one half-hour comedy from actress-comedian Andrea Savage and director-producer Jay Roach. Savage will write and star inside the multi-camera project, that's being produced by Universal Television, with Roach and Jennifer Perini executive creating through their Everyman Pictures. The untitled comedy concentrates on a girl who prides herself on her behalf account humor and edge and won't become typical after motherhood the first time. The project is semi-autobiographical as Savage too had her first child 24 several weeks ago. Her first gig coming back will be a co-starring role in Jay Roach’s 2010 feature comedy Dinner For Schmucks, where the two first labored together. Groundlings Theatre alumna Savage, repped by UTA and Variety, also co-starred inside the movie Step Brothers and sisters. On Tv, she starred and written for your Comedy Central series Dog Bites Guy and Cinemax’s Funny Or Die Presents and was most recently seen guest starring per week ago’s episode of ABC’s Modern Family. Roach, whose credits have the Fulfill The Parents franchise and Cinemax’s Recount, is to apply CAA and Variety.
