Couple questions about song types/meanings?

Sorry the title isn't very descriptive, but I have a few questions
that don't really relate.

1. Does anybody know any songs that relate to moving in any way? We
are having a party for a friend who is moving, and I want a good
closing song. It can be sad, or happy, doesn't matter.

2. Also, does anybody know any songs related to, hmm, not sure how to
put this. Kind of to Father's Day, but to a kid that doesn't have a
father or who has never met him. Again, it can be happy or sad.

3. The song Beside You by Marianas Trench? Have you seen the video?
Can someone explain what is going on?
