Is a waste of time to make this?

I have a favorite singer and i want to write down on my notebook all
his song(which are many), but i love them.Do you think that's a waste
of time.I thought once when i was out of my country i needed to read
them again, so..

If you think that idea it's ok...how will you write, add pictures or
else?(date, release year of the song?)
